| Chris Swinson, OBE
has held many major positions and was appointed Comptroller and
Auditor General for Jersey in October 2005.
As well as being former
senior partner of BDO Stoy Hayward and President of the Institute
of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Chris has been a
Chairman of the Audit Committee of HM Treasury and a member of the
Financial Reporting Council. He is the author of several books on
aspects of accounting and auditing.
In 2006 he was appointed
as Visiting Professor to Bournemouth University’s Centre for
Corporate Governance and Regulation and in April 2006 delivered
his inaugural lecture: ‘In the Shadow of Enron’.
